• Ensure pool and landscaping vendors are maintaining the property
• Visual check of ceilings, windows, and doors for leaks or cracks

• Collect packages or flyers that could signal vacancy

To ready the home for the owner's return:

• Turn on HVAC and adjust to comfortable settings
• Plug in appliances and electronics
• Flush water systems
• Clean and air out the home
• Grocery stocking or welcome package (if offered)
• Ensure pool is ready, lawn is groomed, and outdoor furniture is in place
• Test all systems for functionality
• Confirm pest control and deep cleaning (if scheduled)
• Provide a pre-arrival report or checklist confirmation
